  • Chemical Peel After Care Instructions
Gently cleanse your face twice a day with a gentle cleanser. Please do not pick or pull your skin at any time after your peel, as it can cause scarring. Your skin will take about 4 to 7 days to completely peel depending on the strength of the peel or treatment you received. Chemical peel on the body, chest, or arms often takes longer (up to 3 weeks). Please do not exfoliate using a cleansing brush or any facial scrub or acid based products for 2 weeks; longer if peel is done on the body. Do not use any products that contain AHA, Glycolic, Retin-A, or any acne medication until your skin has finished peeling (usually 7 days, but possibly longer). Keep skin well hydrated by drinking at least three 8-ounce glasses of water per day, and moisturizing throughout the day with a good moisturizer both day and night. Reapply throughout the day as often as needed. Your skin should never be so dry that it is cracking or sore. Refrain from waxing, tanning, or using sunbeds for 3 weeks. Avoid working out and sweating for at least 24 hours and up to 48 hours. If your skin becomes itchy at any time, you may use a 1% hydrocortisone cream (any brand). Finally, use SPF 30 or higher consistently throughout the day. REAPPLY, REAPPLY, REAPPLY, for this will limit your skin from burning in the sun (even when it’s cloudy out or when sitting by a window) and will minimize the chances of more sun damage and discoloration.
  • Dermaplaning Aftercare Instructions
You may feel a slight itchiness or a stinging sensation for the first 24 hrs after treatment. This is normal. Avoid makeup for 24-48hrs after treatment. Avoid facial waxing for 7 days. Avoid Dermal Fillers or Botox for 2 to 4, weeks depending on area of application. Avoid excessive heat for 3 days after treatment, i.e. heavy workouts, steam rooms or saunas, etc. Avoid the use of exfoliating scrubs for at least one week after treatment. Avoid direct sunlight and wear SPF 30-50 when outside for 1 to 2 weeks following the treatment, as your skin may be more sensitive. Avoid other facial treatments for two weeks after dermaplaning. Skincare Routine: When washing your face, use a gentle, approved cleanser. Rinse skin gently (with water only) and pat dry/do not rub. Avoid harsh cleansers or rough washcloths.
  • Hydrodermabrasion Aftercare Instructions
Do not wash your face, shower or work out to produce sweat for at least 6 hours post peel. Water will reactivate the peel and drive it further into the skin. No chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or dermaplaning for 2 weeks. May experience redness for 2-4 hours post treatment, but it will subside. May have flaking on the second to third day after treatment, and may last for 1-2 days. If unusual irritation persists more than 2 days, contact us. Avoid use of Vitamin C, AHA.s, Glycolics and other chemical exfoliants for 2 days post treatment. Please use a SPF 30-50 for at least 5-7 days following your treatment, as your skin is now more exposed and more susceptible for damage immediately following the treatment. Please refrain from prolonged direct sun exposure or tanning beds for 2 weeks. It's best to not put makeup on immediately following the treatment, but it is fine to wear the next day. Using mineral make-up is preferred. To achieve maximum results, ongoing treatments and a daily home skin program is recommended.
  • Microdermabrasion Aftercare Instructions

Do not use any Vitamin A based products for 2-3 days (eg Retin A, Retinoic acid, Stieva A, Zorac etc). Moisturize and hydrate adequately day and night.
  • Microneedling Aftercare Instructions
Use lukewarm water for the initial 24 hours to rinse the treated area. After 24 hours, use a gentle cleanser to cleanse the face for the following 72 hours and gently dry the treated skin. Always make sure that your hands are clean when touching the treated area. Apply moisturizer generously over the next 24 hours. Do not take any inflammatory medicines for at least 2 weeks post treatment. It is recommended that makeup is avoided 72 hours after the procedure. Do not apply any makeup with a makeup brush, especially if it is not clean. After the initial 24 hours, apply a broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen with a minimum SPF 30 for two weeks. Avoid intentional and direct sunlight for 48 hours. No tanning beds. Do not go swimming for at least 24 hours post-treatment. No exercising or strenuous activity for the first 24 hours post-treatment. Sweating and gym environments must be avoided during the first 72 hours post-treatment.
  • Brow Lamination Aftercare Instructions
Avoid water: It is important to avoid water for the first 24 hours after your brow lamination treatment. This means no washing your face, no showering, and no sweating. Water can cause the brows to become frizzy and can also strip away the lamination product. Gently brush brows: After the initial 24 hour period has passed, you can gently brush your brows with a spoolie brush or a clean toothbrush. This helps keep them looking neat and tidy. Use oil free products: Be sure to use only oil free products on your brows, as oils can break down the lamination product and cause it to fade prematurely. Avoid heavy makeup: It is best to avoid wearing any makeup on your brows for the first few days after your treatment. This allows the product to fully set and helps prevent any irritation or damage. This, along with self-tanning products, can also discolor your newly laminated brows. Avoid direct sunlight, saunas, or pools for 48 hours: Direct sunlight, saunas, and pools can all cause the brow lamination product to break down and fade prematurely. If you must be in direct sunlight, be sure to wear a hat or other head covering to protect your brows. Use a brow gel: A brow gel can be used to help keep the brows in place and can also help to prolong the life of your lamination.
  • Lash Lift Aftercare Instructions
Be gentle with your lashes; no rubbing. Do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hrs. Do not use harsh products on your eyes/lashes. Use of Sauna/Steam is possible after 24hrs but may weaken the effect of the lift. No eye make up for 24 hours. Avoid waterproof mascara’s. Swimming should be avoided for at least 24hrs. No other facial beauty treatments for 24hrs.
  • Facial Waxing Aftercare Instructions
Avoid applying heat to the waxed area for 12 to 24 hours. This includes hot baths, sauna, and steam. Avoid sun tanning for 12 to 24 hours. This includes any strong ultraviolet (UV) light exposure or tanning bed treatments. Avoid applying highly fragranced products to the waxed area. This includes, perfume, scented body lotions, anti-perspirants, cosmetics, or feminine hygiene sprays. Only use professional products, recommended to you by your esthetician. Avoid using harsh abrasive or exfoliates in the waxed area. However, if you are prone to in-grown hairs, the day after your waxing treatment, exfoliate the newly waxed area with a loofah to avoid future problems. Avoid applying high SPF sunblocks to the waxed area for 12-24 hours after the waxing service. Sunscreen chemicals can be irritating to the newly waxed skin. This includes self-tanning products and tan accelerators. Any pinking of the skin should disappear within 6 to 8 hours after the waxing treatment. Slight pinking is normal, and indicates that the hair was removed from the root, rather than superficially broken off, as in shaving.
